The staff are Japanese, and obviously, they work systematically, work very hard, and are very pleasant to customers. The food is delicious, and in my opinion, they can outbid some expensive Japanese restaurants in CBD. Well done, Ken's sushi. Keep up all the good work. You have made so many local customers very happy.
The Kens Sushi platter which was great. Also ordered this green spider roll which was very interesting as it has a vibrant green colour to it.
Service was very friendly and quick. Found everything to be great. Food was delicious, portions on salmon, tuna and sashimi were are very generous.
Definitely at 5/5 place and would highly recommend. Only slight caveat is that you must book in advance.
The food is so delicious and freshly made . Portion is not too big but just enough .
Atmosphere is cozy and welcoming . The only thing I could suggest is we ordered chicken soba , I would love for the chicken to be in a separate plate and still crunchy . When you put in the broth , it becomes soggy and does not taste as good .
This is our first time trying this restaurant and I would love to come back again .
Beautiful food. Traveling from America, and we have great Japanese food on the coast around San Francisco. This place is just as good as those high-end restaurants. Wonderful service, great people.
Quick dinner on Friday night without booking and manage to get a table as the restaurant was full house. Good sushi roll and gyoza. Will come back to try others in the menu.
The best Sushi around the area, i love the Wagyu beef teriaki, sizzling and tasty.
The great california rolls are amazing, also try the sake.
The First time we came here, we did not have a reservation so we were turned away.
Next time we came with a reservation, as we walked in we were totally ignored for a while until the manager asked for our reservation, when I told her she angrily said that she had called me a few days earlier to confirm the reservation but I did not pick up. I was shocked by the accusation and checked my phone call log and I had no missed calls as she claimed. Further, she said she had called a few days earlier but I had only made the booking the day after the date she said she called me…
I felt embarrassed with my family as we stood there unsure if she would let us have our reservation or if we are supposed to leave? Also felt uncomfortable as she had yelled her accusation across the shop with all the other customers listening.
I tried to explain she was mistaken, but I’m not sure she understood, but she begrudgingly showed us to a table.
We ordered and ate our meal quickly and left in case there was another reservation for that table.
We couldn’t fully enjoy our meal and felt like we were paying for the mistake of the manager who didn’t apologise or act in a professional manner.
Great place to have sashimi. We went here during lunch and not so pack at the restaurant. Eventhough there is only one staff who served us, she is so fast and attentive to our requests. The sashimi pieces are so big compared to other restaurants. The soba is hot and we though it’s cold soba. Overall everything is good we will come back again.
